In-depth photo tours at the temples of Angkor, the streets of Phnom Penh and stunning locations all around Cambodia

3-day photo tour around Siem Reap
First day
High quality in-depth photography tour and workshop at selected temple sites within Angkor Park. The workshop is especially for participators who want to learn to take better pictures and want to explore Angkor Park at the same time. The workshop includes an arranged and instructed photo shoot with some monks from the nearby pagoda at a quiet temple site.
Included sunrise at Angkor, Preah Khan, Leper King, The Bayon and more…
Second day
Explore and discover the beauty of Cambodia’s countryside near Siem Reap and get away from the temples for just a day. We'll show you the villages along the ricefields, local markets, scenic pagodas, life in the floating villages on the Tonle Sap. A ride out of town to the countryside and a boat trip in the afternoon to one of the unspoiled floating villages close to the lake. Get your cameras out for some street photography and interact with the lovely Khmers.
On the third day
We’re heading out to Ta Prohm temple site, some beautiful spots followed by Angkor Wat inside. After lunch we will have some street photography sessions in different parts of Siem Reap. We will visit a small community along the Siem Reap river, explore a pagoda and interact with the locals at the big Siem Reap market.
Full tuition (camera settings, light, composition)
Transport by tuktuk / boat (cool drinking water on board)
Lunches on all days

About the tours and workshops

Passion for Photography is All You Need
Photo Cambodia customers are both professional and amateur photographers. We welcome enthusiastic photographers of all skill levels on our tours. Our aim is simply to help you, find and create images that express your unique experience in Cambodia.

All tours and workshops are private so no team-up with strangers for the best approach, exploring and teaching. All tours and workshops are flexible. We will try to avoid the big crowds so we have more time to work on our photographs. Because the tours are flexible we can start early morning until lunchtime and start again late afternoon for the Golden Hour (option)

The cameras I use

Sometimes I get questions from (potential) clients what cameras/lenses I use. Well… look at the picture. I got the Nikon D700 full frame using at the moment only for portrait sessions. The very handy Fuji X100T is mainly for street photography. The Fuji X-Pro 1 (love that camera) with a 10-24mm, 35mm and 60mm I carry in and around the temples and during other photo tours/workshops and… the analog LEICA M2 with a VOIGTLANDER 35mm/1.4 Nokton.

My mission is to show you the best spots and locations in Angkor and Cambodia during your photo tour and workshop, by sharing my experience and my knowledge of photography to help you understand your equipment and achieve your goals, and to take you on incredible photo tours and workshops that will inspire you for the rest of your life.

More Great Reviews...

"Another excellent tour with Eric"
Two weeks ago I had another tour with Eric. This was my fifth and this time we went to Banteay Chhmar, which is way off the beaten path. This is one more reason to use him -- he can get you to places you'd never get to on your own. His driver, Kheng, is really good and one feels safe with him on the back roads of Cambodia.
Once again, Eric improved my photography by helping me have a better eye and make achieve much better composition. He's a pleasure to work with. A tour with Eric will be a highlight of your trip and I recommend him without reservation(Visited October 2015)
